Evolution is a Fairy Tale is a delightful children’s book that is intended as much for grownups as it is for children. Farcical from the start, Evolution is a Fairy Tale pokes some serious fun at the evolution story, planting seeds of doubt in the minds of those who read this amazing saga of amoebas, dust mites, and other “miraculous” animals. In the end the truth is unveiled – evolution is pretend!
Illustrator LeeAnne Gibney graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She displayed a passion for art early in life, taking her first painting class at age seven, and has enjoyed expanding her horizons and perfecting her craft ever since. This is the third children’s book she illustrated, along with multiple coloring books, greeting cards, music album covers, and assorted original artwork and prints. LeeAnne also teaches art classes for a non-profit called Fine Art Starts, dedicated to keeping the fine arts alive in schools.
